| dc.description | Abstract: The purpose was to compare the views of students and teachers about the valued skills. The sample consisted of 554 students and 132 teachers. The methods of analysis included Cronbach's alpha to validate the instrument, an ANOVA to compare ordinal logistic models and derivatives. Results: The competences identified by students are helping with the course (teaching), handle powerpoint,(technology), able to evaluate (technical), being respectful (behavioral), handle the virtual classroom (technology) and applying theory to practice (technical). Teachers identified: being innovative in the classroom, helping with the course and speaking other languages (teaching), accessible, being on time, friendly and treating students well (behavior and attitudes) and operating and managing powerpoint and virtual classroom (technological). | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | El propósito fue comparar las opiniones de estudiantes y de profesores sobre las competencias valoradas. La muestra fue de 554 estudiantes y de 132 profesores. Los métodos de análisis incluyeron el alpha de Cronbach para validar el instrumento, una ANOVA para comparar y modelos ordinales logísticos derivados. Resultados. Las competencias identificadas propias de los estudiantes son: ayudar con el curso (docente), manejar powerpoint, (tecnológica), saber evaluar (técnica), respetuoso (conductual), manejar el aula virtual (tecnológica) y aplicar la teoría a la práctica(técnica), y por los profesores son: innovador en la clase, ayudar con el curso y hablar otros idiomas (docentes), accesible, puntual, amable y tratar bien a los estudiantes (conductuales o actitudes) y manejar powerpoint y manejar el aula virtual (tecnológicas). | en_US |
